Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Co-Chairperson Ngozi Mensah at 4:10 p.m.
Roll Call: As listed above.
Approval of Minutes: A motion was made by Ms. Peggy Murphy, seconded by Ms. Becky O’Connor to approve the minutes of the February 3rd, March 3rd, and April 7th meetings. All voted aye.
Financial Report: - Ms. Becky O’Connor gave a brief review of the monthly financial report. Ms. O’Connor reported a total income of $22,690, expenses of $18,771 and a net of $3,919. This amount includes the Safari Dinner.
Moshi Committee: -
Safari Dinner Co-Chairperson Mensah indicated the Safari Dinner was a success. Ms. O’Connor reported the income received for the event was $18,072, expenses of $6,453 and a net of $11,619. This amount includes a $5,000 donation from Palm Beach County. Mr. David Schmidt requested the Board to consider changing the date for next years Safari Dinner so there is no conflict with the golf tournament. Co-Chairperson Mensah will speak with the Tanzania Committee and the Golf Club on a new date for year 2006 and bring a recommendation back to the Board to review.
ICMA Grant Application Co-Chairperson Mensah reported the ICMA grant application is being reviewed and there is no update at this time.
Sister Cities Africa Conference Co-Chairperson Mensah is making plans to attend this conference on May 25-29, 2005. A motion was made by Ms. Clovis Moodie recommending Mr. Mensah authorization to attend the conference in St. Louis and use the funds from the Safari Dinner, seconded by Mr. Bill Wilsher. All aye.
Tourist Program Co-Chairperson Mensah reported the tourist program is being organized for August 2006.
Teacher Program no update
Miyazu Committee: -
Golf Tournament Mr. Robert Barcinski reported the tournament is scheduled for May 7, 2005. There is a total of 13 teams and 24 hole sponsors.
Student Exchange - Mr. Jimmy Mihori reported 7 students will be going to Japan and arrangements are being made.

President’s Report No report.
Non-Agenda Items Co-Chairperson Mensah would like for the Board to consider having the Nani Nani special event this year with the Roots Cultural Festival. Mr. Mensah is coordinating with Ms. Elizabeth Wesley the arrangements to have Nani Nani celebration on August 13th with the Roots Cultural Organization.
Mr. Charles Hardiman reported the Pineapple Grove is creating a monument to Sister Cities including all three sister cities.
