The meeting was held at the Delray Beach Public Library. In attendance were n'Detenga n'Gurumo, Ned Gusty, Dale Briese, and Bonnie Stelzer. Chairman n'Gurumo convened the meeting at 8:30 am.

The Tanzanian committee members present unanimously agreed to a summer recess of general meetings until October 3rd, 2002.

Student exchanges between Moshi and Delray Beach was discussed. It was agreed that capital first had to be established by committee fund raising. In the meantime, the Chairman will research the procedures used by the Japanese Committee and fact-find how they first initiated their student exchange program.

With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:30 am.
